In my early 30’s I found myself unable to perform the hundreds of original songs that had chosen me to write them… I began to paint.

I discovered to my relief a new perspective based upon the fact that I did not have to “perform” the painting. If someone liked it or not, it was really up to them and I had no attachment or need for applause or praise.

I was able to return to music with a lot more lightness and less stress.
