If you know anything about me it’s this: I am a compulsive songwriter.
Yes. It IS a compulsion. Sometimes its even a little bit out of control :o)
I’ve been writing an average of 10-15 songs a year since 1976… Over 500 songs to date (the truth is I write little songs all day long as I go about my day… I actually THINK in song…).
They cover all topics, from love to kid songs to songs written through the eyes of characters in my imagination. In the 1990’s I added drumming and storytelling to the mix just to further complicate things.
Here’s an example of the theme song I wrote for Bethany Gonyea’s Albany Peace Project. If you would like to down load this free, simply click the “download” link in the song player. This what I call “A Life in Song”. It’s a work in progress where I am gathering up my songs, indexing them chronologically and posting acoustic versions, live versions, studio versions and lyrics.
