Building A Tiny House To Serve Your Passions

Hey Kids, I’m going to start collecting and sharing the videos that have inspired me to start my OWN Tiny House building adventure.

The project so far is as follows:

1. Winterize my dad’s garage so I can have a heated workshop (it gets really cold in northern New York State).
2. Finish the Tiny house already on his property so I can have my own small space in order to a. learn how to build and b. what I want to build differently in my own structure..
3. Start to plan and build the house boat! (This may take a while, which is fine. PROCESS over PRODUCT). But I want a floating tiny house that can be not only a place to live but to record, create, and possibly even feed myself sustainably…. more on that as we delve deeper in the days, weeks and months to come.

I love this video because this guy thinks like I do. He’s created a space that serves and supports his deepest passion at the same time that it is incredibly PRACTICAL, USEFUL and CONGRUENT. He rents out the downstairs for income. He lives simply on the top level. And the yard is all about his physical, emotional and mental well being. Bravo!!!
