Ever have a series of events that threaten to just trash your entire day and coat everything with a layer of negative “thought gook” that tends to “infect” your mood, your energy and just color everything else in your life a dull shade of grey or black?
Here’s how to handle that…
You know the kind of day. You start out all positive and then something happens that you didn’t expect or you say something that triggers someone or someone triggers YOU or all of the above and more. It’s happened to all of us.
Pretty much everyone on this little blue planet could probably nod their head and say, “Uh huh. Been there. Done that.”
I have a little story for you that if you pay attention to, just might give you some options next time you experience what threatens to be a “day from hell.”

At around 5:30 am Monday of this week I went to get my wallet out of the rental car I had parked in the rental car return area Sunday night. Luckily I had not dropped the key in the drop slot because I was going to put some gas in it and make sure it was all clean etc. But when I went out to do that. The Car was GONE! :o(
Evidently I had parked it in the wrong place. And some helpful person at the hotel had called a tow truck and had it towed away…
The result was I had to find where it was towed, get a cab (with no money at all in my pocket because my wallet was in the car), get it back and somehow get on my 7:15 am flight.
This is a personal, real life example of applying the “Modern Jedi Mind Mastery” tools… In particular the “NLP reframe” and the Presuppositional “Why” Question: (one of my favorite “go to” techniques in stressful situations)
